Dr. Cameron Hamidi

Periodontist

Dr. Hamidi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree
from The Ohio State University in 2007. He then
continued his education by completing a 3-year surgical
residency in Implant Dentistry and Periodontics at the
University of North Carolina (UNC) in 2010. He also
obtained a masters in public health degree with a focus
on Health Policy and Management from UNC. Shortly
after completing his residency, Dr. Hamidi achieved
and maintained Board Certification, a distinction held
by only a few surgeons. During the past two decades,
he has mastered advanced techniques in complex bone
grafting, dental implant surgery, sinus augmentation,
full mouth dental implant rehabilitation, periodontal
plastic surgery, laser therapy, wisdom teeth extractions,
periodontal surgery and related specialty surgeries. He
also lectures and educates fellow dentist and surgeons
around the country.

Hobbies
When not working, Dr. Hamidi dedicates himself to
training for elite mountain climbing expeditions. He
explores remote corners of the world, experiencing
sights few ever do at extreme altitudes. Alongside his
love for mountaineering, he enjoys running, biking,
traveling, and trying new experiences.
